The Elizabethan and English Renaissance Area of the Popular Culture Association invites submissions on any aspect of popular culture in England from c.1450-c.1750 for the 33rd annual Popular Culture Association Conference to be held in New Orleans, Louisiana, April 16-19, 2003.
Topics may include, but are not limited to, popular entertainment, popular literature, popular music, gender, self and group identity, literacy, education, dress, popular religion, popular politics, regionalism and nationalism.
Both panel and single paper proposals are welcome. Deadline: September 15, 2002.
